DISCIPLINE IS EVER EVOLVING

DISCIPLINE IS LEARNED, BUT NEVER MASTERED

"A good coach doesn't determine an outcome. They enable it. They create the conditions for success" -- Me

When I started coaching, the goal was always to help other like-minded adults stay active. I wanted to show people that you can have a busy life and remain fit and set goals. Specifically, endurance goals. Goals that seem insurmountable for someone with a full-time job and family.

I've balanced training and racing with a full-time life for a long time. Some say it's not sustainable. For me, it's all I know.

And I knew that there are so many other people out there in the same shoes. They have limited time, but BIG goals.

Over the past few years, the success of the Mindset Endurance team has been astonishing. Every single athlete on our team has a high level of discipline and commitment to bettering themselves.

As a positive thinking coach, I see potential in every single person. But I also know that discipline isn't always an innate character trait.

Some HAVE it. Some LOST it. Some will NEVER have it.

Everyone has the potential to be disciplined, it's just that some haven't had the resources and environment to build it.

The Mindset Endurance team has taught me that discipline comes in many forms. For some, the training discipline comes natural. For others, the commitment to career, studies, or family comes natural.

We all have examples where we've committed ourselves to following a passion. That commitment is ever evolving. Once you become disciplined in one area, there's another part of your life that PULLS or PUSHES you in a different direction. Sometimes discipline requires that we let go of our previous ambitions. Other times, our discipline grows even stronger by facing challenges that may compromise our current path.

So, I say all this to let you know that everyone faces challenges. Your discipline to your character, your integrity, and your values will determine how you navigate those challenges. No one is successful alone. Find a coach. Find a mentor. Find like-minded friends. Whether you need a nudge or a training plan, there are people out there willing to help.

If you're looking for someone to help you find a way to conquer that BIG endurance goal, within the context of a busy life, you've found the right place. Send me an email or DM (@stevekeller.mecoaching). Let's figure out what's possible for you.
